Heritage

A craft older than perfume

Chinese incense making is recognized as intangible cultural heritage in several regions. At Yujian, we treat that lineage as method—not costume: natural materials, measured blends, and burns meant for presence.

Select

Woods and herbs are chosen for character when heated—agarwood resin, sandalwood grain, citrus peel, mugwort—not for loud top notes.

Blend

Powders are mixed by ratio and rested. Binders stay plant-based. The aim is a clean line of smoke, not a room sprayed with fragrance.

Shape

Sticks, coils, and seal powder each ask for different moisture and pressure. Form follows how you want time to pass.

From workshop to your table

Every listing notes materials and burn character so you can choose by ritual—not by trend name. New to incense? Start with the guide.
